Ratha Yatra Puri
The world-famous Puri Ratha Yatra is a vibrant symbol of inclusion and unity celebrated every June or July. During this historic Chariot Festival, Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra step outside their sacred abode to embark on an annual 2 km journey to the Gundicha Temple, granting millions of global devotees the profound opportunity to witness them on the streets.

Sital Sasthi
Sital Sasthi is one of the most popular festivals of Western Odisha, especially celebrated in Sambalpur, Barpali, Bargarh, and nearby regions. The festival commemorates the divine marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and is observed on the sixth day (Sasthi) of the bright fortnight of the Hindu month of Jyeshtha (May–June).
The celebration includes grand wedding processions, traditional music, folk dances, cultural performances, and religious rituals. Thousands of devotees and tourists participate in the festival, witnessing the symbolic marriage ceremony performed with great devotion and enthusiasm.

Janmashtami, also known as Krishna Janmashtami, is a major Hindu festival celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The festival is observed on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadrapada (August–September).
Devotees celebrate Janmashtami with great devotion by fasting, offering prayers, singing devotional songs, reading sacred scriptures, and organizing cultural programs depicting the life of Lord Krishna. Temples and homes are beautifully decorated, and special midnight prayers are conducted to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna.
